WASHINGTON, UK -- Hughes Pumps has unveiled the Ultrabar 10E Ultra High Pressure Zone 2 offshore pump unit, designed specifically for the offshore water jetting and UHP surface preparation markets.
The Ultrabar 10E is 1.8 x 1 m (6 x 3.2 ft) and is designed for spot blasting, beams, and general surface preparation. ATEX compliant, the Ultrabar 10E UHP water-jetting unit develops 8.8 lpm at 2100 bar, is Zone 1 or 2 EEx nA T3 electric motor driven, and suitable for use from a 63-amp socket. The Ultrabar 10E is mounted in a compact EN12079/DNV 2.7-1 offshore crash frame.
