HOUSTON -- Fugro-Jason has launched the PowerLog 3.0, a new version of its petrophysical interpretation software. PowerLog is Windows-based software for petrophysical analysis, dedicated to log data editing, conditioning, analysis, and presentation.

According to the company, PowerLog 3.0 features a new, robust data manager, enhanced interactivity between processes, and new functionality while maintaining backward compatibility.

"PowerLog 3.0 retains all the ease-of-use and speed that current PowerLog customers expect, plus now supports rapid introduction of new capabilities," says Brad Woods, application engineering manager for Fugro-Jason. "The completely new software architecture makes it easy for us to respond to change requests and for users to add custom functionality."
