SOUTH NORWALK, Connecticut -- Wilks Enterprise has unveiled new water testers called InfraCal TOG/TPH Analyzers. The analyzers are specifically designed on-site measurement of total oil and grease (TOG), total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH), and fats, oil, and grease (FOG) concentration levels in produced water on offshore platforms or wastewater in refineries or treatment facilities. Typical analysis time is under 15 minutes, including extraction, eliminating the need to wait for off-site lab results. InfraCal TOG/TPH models are available for use with a variety of extracting solvents such as hexane, pentane, Vertrel MCA, Freon, hydrocarbon-free grade of perchloroethylene, S-316 or AK-225.
All InfraCal analyzers are portable (operable from a 12 volt dc power supply) and weigh less than 5 lb. The analyzers can read out in infrared absorption values or can be calibrated to display concentrations directly in formats such as ppm or milligram/kg.
