CEDAR GROVE, New Jersey -- Servometer has unveiled a new line of gold-plated bellows for dynamic interconnect applications. The bellows absorb shock and vibrations while maintaining continuous connection.
Servometer contact springs are manufactured from electrodeposited nickel alloy and gold plated to ASTM B488-01, to enhance conductivity. End cups are designed to fit over standard sized pins or into recesses, connecting to other components without soldering. The springs provide low DC resistance with a minimum of insertion loss, and are designed to provide lifetime spring and force repeatability.
The precision contacts are available in diameters ranging from 0.037 in. OD (1 mm) to 0.245 in. OD (6.22 mm). The company also designs custom contacts with bellows diameters as small as 0.020 in. (0.5 mm).
Servometer contacts are rated for a maximum current of 4 amps, and can be safely used up to 260° F (127° C).
