ABERDEEN, UK -- Talisman Energy Norge (TENAS) has awarded EnerMech a $800,000 contract for a crane cabin change-out on the Gyda platform in the Southern North Sea.

The work scope covers the design, engineering, construction, and installation of the cabin with delivery scheduled for July. Construction will take place at EnerMech's Stavanger facility.

Talisman has also extended a frame agreement with EnerMech that covers crane maintenance services, including the provision of personnel services offshore and onshore, and modification work on the Gyda platform, with options to cover other Talisman-operated platforms.

The frame agreement was previously held by Bjørge ASA but has been transferred following EnerMech's acquisition of Bjørge's crane division last October.
