Hydrasun to expand specialist manufacturing capabilities to meet subsea demands

Hydrasun, a provider of integrated fluid transfer, power, and control solutions to the global energy market, is expanding its operations with a £3 million ($5 million) investment in its specialist manufacturing facility in Aviemore, Scotland.

ABERDEEN, UKHydrasun, a provider of integrated fluid transfer, power, and control solutions to the global energy market, is expanding its operations with a £3 million ($5 million) investment in its specialist manufacturing facility in Aviemore, Scotland. This is also being supported by a £500,000 ($841,200) development grant from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE).

The expansion of Hydrasun’s Manufacturing Division is due for overall completion by September.

The investment funds upgrades to the existing 1,400-sq-m (15,069-sq-ft) facility and also allow for the purchase of new specialist manufacturing equipment. In addition to the investment from HIE, Hydrasun has also received training support from Skills Development Scotland (SDS).
