Drillship Bully 2 to get Oceaneering BOP

Frontier Drilling has awarded Oceaneering International a $14 million contract to deliver a new generation, subsea blowout preventer (BOP) control system.

HOUSTON -- Frontier Drilling has awarded Oceaneering International a $14 million contract to deliver a new generation, subsea blowout preventer (BOP) control system.

This electro-hydraulic, microprocessor-based control, and data acquisition system will be manufactured at Oceaneering Intervention Engineering's facility in Houston for installation onboard theBully 2 drillship. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2Q 2010.
