Lundin contracts Plexus for wellhead systems

LONDON -- Lundin Petroleum has awarded Plexus Holdings a $1-million contract to supply its proprietary POS-GRIP wellhead systems and mudline suspension for an exploration well being drilled in the Norwegian North Sea.

Plexus will provide Lundin with its standard proprietary 15,000 psi, high pressure/high temperature 18.75 in. (48 cm) single stack surface wellhead system for use with an 18.75 in. (48 cm) 15,000 psi blowout preventer.
