HOUSTON -- BP has awarded AGM a contract for 3D geological interpretation and visualization technology and related services. The agreement includes deployment of AGM's flagship product, Recon, throughout BP's worldwide network. The multi-year contract also provides customized, enhanced training, delivered by AGM, to ensure the successful uptake and full utilization of the technology. Training will be conducted at AGM's training facilities in Houston and London.

"Recon is the most advanced, 3D geological interpretation software on the market," says Robin Dommisse, CEO of AGM. "It transforms massive well and seismic data sets and other related data into coherent, interpretable 3D images of hydrocarbon reservoirs in real time. The technology's unique speed and built-in workflow automation capabilities enable users, from geoscientists to business managers, to make better informed decisions about exploration and production activities, in hours and days instead of weeks and months."
