Perry Slingsby wins GSP Titan ROV contract

ABERDEEN, UK -- GSP Titan Ltd. has awarded Perry Slingsby Systems a contract to provide ROV capabilities to the newbuild construction vessel GSP Titan.

Under the contract, PSS and Sub-Atlantic will deliver one 3,000 m (9,843 ft) Comanche system and two 3,000 m (9,842 ft) Triton XLX 200 hp systems in January and November 2010 respectively.

Each TXLX is equipped with the ICE (integrated controls engine) real-time control system and configured with the latest tooling and survey capabilities, state-of-the-art Gb telemetry and graphical diagnostics.

TheGSP Titan will be the first multi-purpose vessel to combine offshore pipelay, heavy lift, and tender assist drilling operations into one design, says GSP.
