ABERDEEN, UK -- Subsea 7's i-Tech division has won contracts totaling more than $20 million.

SeaDragon Offshore has awarded i-Tech a five-year contract for the provision of ROV and remote intervention technology services onboard the semisubmersibleOban B.

Larsen Oil & Gas has awarded i-Tech a five-year contract for the provision of ROV and remote intervention technology services onboard its newbuild semisubmersiblePetrorig III.

Both contracts are due to begin offshore operations early 2010 and will see the deployment of the first Centurion QX work-class ROV systems in Mexico.

The Centurion QX on both rigs will be provided with a bespoke launch and recovery system that maximizes ROV availability when operating in deepwater or adverse weather conditions.
