PLEASANTON, California -- Sub-One Technology's i-TEC completion valve with InnerArmor coating has been qualified for the Valhall project in the Norwegian Sector of the North Sea.

i-TEC's i-Valve 550 is a completion tool that incorporates self-cleaning technology to maintain high pumping rates over extended timeframes. Utilizing InnerArmor coatings for high wear resistance, low surface friction, and strong corrosion protection, i-Valve completion tools can be deployed in environments with sour crude, high saline formation, or other corrosive environments, such as acidic flushing and drilling mud slurries.

InnerArmor coatings solve corrosion, wear, and friction-reduction challenges in the interiors of critical liquid and gas handling equipment and piping. Each coating has been thoroughly tested using applicable NACE, ASTM and other industry standards to validate performance, the company says.
