CANTON, Ohio --Koch Knight has unveiled its line of Kryptoknight inert ceramic balls for catalyst beds in chemical processing, ethanol refining and oil, gas and petrochemical refining. The inert ceramic balls are designed to provide chemical stability and mechanical strength, ensuring that the catalytic process is not disrupted. Kryptoknight resists thermal shock and spalling.

Kryptoknight inert ceramic balls are available in three types:

•Kryptoknight A: 99% alumina support media, designed for processes where steam may typically cause leaching for silica from the alternative aluminosilicate media. High alumina media also yields improved performance when addressing polymerization

•Kryptoknight H: A premium aluminosilicate support media with a 23% alumina content, an ideal formula for tough fixed-bed conditions such as hydrotreating and isomerization

•Kryptoknight M: An economical aluminosilicate ceramic media, comprising all the properties necessary for support media in molecular sieve and desiccant dryer applications.
