FMC to supply Flex LNG offloading systems

HOUSTON -- Samsung Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. has contracted FMC Technologies Inc. to supply Flex LNG with four offloading systems. The order also includes an option for a fifth system.

Each system includes three 16-in (40-cm) offshore LNG offloading arms with FMC's enhanced-connection targeting and a control system. FMC will manufacture the equipment at its operation in Sens, France.

Deliveries are scheduled for 2009 and 2010.
