ABERDEEN, UK – EV has a six-month agreement with BP Norway to deploy camera and video inspection tools in the North Sea.

The company’s cameras allow pictures to be taken in remote and harsh environments including within the wellbore from surface to reservoir. The equipment can also be used for inspection and monitoring in the zone from the offshore facility to the seabed.

EV has already worked with BP to deploy its Optis downhole camera equipment, ranging from the RT120 drill-pipe deployment system and the Slickline memory camera to what the company claims is the first fully digital sideview and downview wellbore camera, the Electric Line (E-Line) surface readout system.

Each tool in has enabled BP to make more informed decisions, the company adds, by gaining a significantly greater insight into the wellbore.
