OEG clinches Africa cabin orders

OEG Offshore has won various rental and sale contracts in West and East Africa valued at £1.5 million ($2.3 million) in total.

ABERDEEN, UK – OEG Offshore has won various rental and sale contracts in West and East Africa valued at £1.5 million ($2.3 million) in total.

These will be delivered to Total, Shell, Baker Hughes, and Halliburton.

OEG will provide DNV A60 Zone 2 technician cabins to Metrol for use during well testing off Mozambique and Tanzania in East Africa.

The company will supply more than 300 DNV 2.7-1 offshore container baskets and cargo-carrying units for use in the Congo, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea.

OEG has also delivered A60 Zone 2 cabins to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, the first fleet, it claims, to be based there locally for rental use.
