Intertec to provide enclosures to Deep Panuke

SARNIA, Canada – Intertec will supply pre-assembled, electrically heated instrumentation enclosures for the Deep Panuke gas project offshore Canada. The work was awarded by Single Buoy Moorings Inc.

Intertec’s contract calls for more than 160 Diabox 87 enclosures complete with tubing, valves, and process transmitters. Each box will have an explosion-proof heater and sealed thermostat.

Intertec will produce and integrate the enclosures at its facilities in Neustadt, Germany, then ship them to the platform manufacturer in the UAE.

Deep Panuke is in the Atlantic, approximately 250 km (155 mi) southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
