VANCOUVER, Canada  Trillion Energy has asked a service provider to present recommendations for a slimhole electric submersible pump (ESP), power cables, pump control surface equipment and electric power supply for the West Akcakoca-2 and Akcakoca-3 gas wells at the SASB area in the Black Sea offshore Turkey.

Pump selection should follow shortly, along with reperforation of South Akcakcoa-2 followed by another on the Guluc-2 well.

Trillion is aiming to increase production from its newly drilled wells to match rates previously achieved from the field’s eight legacy wells.

To predict future production at the three tripod gas fields (Akkaya, East Ayazli and Ayazli), the company assessed past production profiles building a mid-case for the five newly wells and the single recompletion.

Historic tripod production (starting in 2007) averaged 15.4 MMcf/d for 34 months, before declining to average 12.95 MMcf/d over the next 12 months, 6.88 MMcf/d for the following 12 months, 4.1 MMcf/d and finally more than 2 MMcf/d.
