Ashtead adds Orphie sharp-view cameras to rental options

ABERDEEN, UK — Ashtead Technology has entered a rental agreement with i2S, a developer of underwater robotics and imaging services.

The arrangement gives Ashtead Technology access to Orphie systems high-spec cameras that can be used by ROVs and divers to improve observation in turbid waters.

In addition, the cameras provide views of objects at a distance three times greater than numerous other systems, Ashtead claims.

They can be rented through the company’s international technology and service hubs.
