DUBAI, UAE – Drydocks World has embarked on a digital transformation project to deliver operational efficiencies and improved customer service.

The project will use IFS Cloud to satisfy the shipyards’ enterprise resource planning and asset management needs.

Drydocks World’s goal of transitioning to a digital shipyard transition entails more streamlined processes, enhanced integration between systems, and greater use of real-time data to drive decision-making throughout the organization.

Another aim is to speed take-up of emerging technologies such as augmented reality and robotics. These can be embedded into the IFS solution, which should modernize and automate current production and operation capabilities at the shipyard, consolidating current core systems and processes into one single product built on a common platform.

The solution’s asset management and manufacturing modules should improve transparency and automation at the for new builds and repairs.
