BV wins wide-ranging North Sea contracts

NEUILLY, France – Bureau Veritas has secured contracts in the North Sea with a total value of more than £7.5 million ($9.87 million).
Some are extensions of existing contracts, with assignments ranging from dynamic positioning assurance, independent verification, certification and classification to marine assurance and marine warranty.
Additionally, the company’smaritime assurance subsidiary MAC will work on a large-scale decommissioning project, providing assurance and warranty services for the removal and safe transportation ashore of platform jackets and topsides.
The project team will operate from MAC’s base in Aberdeen, deploying personnel from across Europe.
