Suretank, Pinamak form Brazil chemicals collaboration

Suretank Latin America has entered into a partnership agreement with Pinamak aimed at cutting operating costs associated with transporting chemicals to offshore platforms.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Suretank Latin America has entered into a partnership agreement with Pinamak aimed at cutting operating costs associated with transporting chemicals to offshore platforms.

Pinamak is said to be the longest established offshore logistics company inBrazil’s Campos basin, with a licensed area of general warehouses of more than 30,000 sq m (322,917 sq ft) in Macaé.

Suretank manufactures offshore chemical tanks and claims to have the largest number of DNV 2.7-1 certified products. In Brazil, its offshore service complies with NORMAM 5 the Brazilian Navy’s requirement for operation with dangerous cargoes.

The partnership’s clients operatingoffshore Brazil can now access sites near the embarkation points where decontamination, washing, storage, and filling of their transport chemical tanks can take place.
