Offshore staff

NORWICH, UK -- Fledgling UK company Aquaterra Energy has landed a $700,000 offshore contract in Tunisia.

BG Tunisia has contracted Aquaterra to design, fabricate, and install a drilling template for the Hasdrubal gas development site offshore North Africa.

"It is our first contract to work from Tunisia, although we have had projects in West Africa," says George Morrison, managing director. "We have worked with BG before, but only in the UK. We're obviously delighted that they along with their partners, the Tunisia National Oil Company, have chosen us after a successful tendering exercise. They are certainly exciting times for such a new company."
