LAFAYETTE, Louisiana --Stone Energy expects to divest selected properties by late second quarter or early third quarter. Cash from the divestiture program, launched in December 2006, will be used to reduce the company's debt, according to Stone. The company reported $204.8 million in debt as of March 31, 2007.
"Properties to be divested might include some or all of our Rocky Mountain properties and selected Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast onshore properties," Stone says.
