WASHINGTON, UK --NOF Energy, which represents oil and gas suppliers and contractors in northern England, is expanding into Scotland.

At OTC next week, NOF plans to sign an agreement with Dundee and Angus Oil Venture Group (DAOVG), under which 20 of the latter's member companies will join NOF. They will benefit from services including industry intelligence, international trade visits and receptions, and introductions to decision-makers to facilitate trade.

Both associations were established in the 1980s. According to NOF's Jack Hanwell, both share similar aspirations. "Additionally, DAOVG brings a wealth of knowledge of the energy industry north of the border, and NOF is eager to establish greater links both in the Dundee area and across Scotland as a whole."
