ABERDEEN, UK --HB Rentals has secured three new contracts from operators in the US and Mexican sectors of the Gulf of Mexico.

The first contract, worth $1.3 million, called for delivery of a 96-man sleeping quarters to the CrossMar Group for its ABS-class work barge. The complex features eight, 12-man sleeper modules, individual galley, diner, recreation area, and office cabins. CrossMar has options to extend the initial 12-month contract.

Pride Offshore ordered an HBR 12-man accommodation unit for $350,000, and Shell-owned pressure drilling specialist At Balance signed a $100-million deal with HBR for delivery of a 20-ft (6-m) x 8-ft (4-m) office, a single eight-man sleeper unit, and a recreation room for use on an inshore work barge.
