ABERDEEN, Scotland --Integrated Subsea Services has acquired Andrews Survey for £9 million ($18.3 million).
Andrews Survey is an independent survey company specializing in seabed surveys and positioning services, and is active in subsea construction, trenching, and pipeline inspection by ROV.
ISS provides diving and ROV services for subsea oil and gas work including subsea well intervention and abandonment to pipeline and platform repair and maintenance.
"The strategic fit of the two companies is excellent and now allows ISS to offer a complete subsea service including surveys," says Stuart Reid of Andrews Surveys. "Also, having worked closely with ISS for several years, I believe that the cultural fit is perfect. We at Andrews are looking forward to an exciting and rewarding future under this new ownership."
