Offshore staff

BROUSSARD, Louisiana -- CarigaliHess Operating Co. has contracted HB Rentals to supply high-specification office and welfare facilities in the Cakerawala field offshore Malaysia.

HB Rentals has delivered four modules to provide added capacity for staff carrying out upgrade and commissioning work on the CKQ, CKR, and CKP production and wellhead platforms.

The cabins were loaded out convoy-style from HB Rentals' yard at Pandan Loop, Singapore, and transported to Malaysia before being shipped by boat to the platforms.

Internal refitting work was carried out in Singapore to convert two of the accommodation modules into offices.

"We are delighted to be working with Carigali again, supporting them in what is an important upgrade program on the Cakerawala platforms," says Alan Kok of Hexamas, HB Rentals' local representative in Malaysia.

HB Rentals provides on and offshore temporary accommodation modules, operating from hubs in Broussard, Louisiana, US; Aberdeen, Scotland; and Singapore.
