US seeks more information on Cal Dive, Horizon merger

HOUSTON -- The Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice has requested additional information from Cal Dive International Inc. and Horizon Offshore on the companies' pending merger.

The information request was issued under the notification requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, extending the waiting period for 30 days from the date of the parties' compliance with the request.
