Fugro acquires William Lettis & Associates

LEIDSCHENDAM, The Netherlands -- Fugro has acquired William Lettis & Associates (WLA), a geological consultancy with headquarters in Walnut Creek, California.
Founded in 1990, WLA operates globally from offices in California, Colorado, Texas, and Georgia. WLA is an earth science consulting company specializing in earthquake hazard assessment and engineering geology for the power industry, government agencies, the oil and gas industry, and the water and infrastructure markets.
WLA will operate within Fugro's geotechnical division. Bill Lettis, the founder of WLA, will remain as president and director of the company.
