Offshore staff
HOUSTON -- Acteon has acquired Pacific Management Technologies Inc. (PMTI), which will be renamed InterAct PMTI.
Based in Ventura, California and in Houston, Texas, PMTI offers project management services in three areas: production facilities and operations, drilling and production services, and decommissioning.
"PMTI possesses an unusually wide spectrum of offshore knowledge and experience and is recognized not only for its professionalism but also for its intensely value-driven approach to projects right across the oilfield life cycle," says Richard Higham, Acteon chief executive.
Most of PMTI's work is offshore California and in the Gulf of Mexico, and the company will continue to pursue work in these areas, according to Acteon. The company also plans to expand.
"We are naturally looking forward to the chance to expand geographically," says Tom Kennedy, president of PMTI.
