STAVANGER, Norway --Revus Energy is acquiring interests from Statoil in two Norwegian North Sea production licenses. The package comprises 51.88% of PL 037C, including 11.52% of the Murchison field, and 21.88% of PL 037D, which includes the Delta discovery.

Following the transaction, Revus will be outright owner of the two licenses, with a 22.2% stake in Murchison. It already holds 100% of adjacent exploration license PL344.

The company has identified several exploration prospects in this acreage close to the median line with the UK, which could be tied back to CNR's Murchison platform. It now plans to seek one or more partners to take these plans forward.

Earlier this month, Revus agreed to sell a 15.74% interest in PL 274 to Noreco. The acreage includes the Oselvar discovery, where an appraisal well is planned shortly.
