Lamprell lands fabrication, refurbish work in the UAE

Lamprell reports contracts to fabricate topsides and process modules for Kanfa AS, DP Producer AS, and Scana AMT plus refurbish jackup rigs for Saipem (Portugal) Comercio Maritimo, Noble International Ltd., Aban 7 Pte. Ltd., and Nabors Drilling International Ltd. for a total value expected to exceed $33 million.

DUBAI, UAE-- Lamprell reports contracts to fabricate topsides and process modules for Kanfa AS, DP Producer AS, and Scana AMT plus refurbish jackup rigs for Saipem (Portugal) Comercio Maritimo, Noble International Ltd., Aban 7 Pte. Ltd., and Nabors Drilling International Ltd. for a total value expected to exceed $33 million.

The process modules for Kanfa AS on the Fred. Olsen ProductionKnock Allan tanker is an $8.86-million contract to procure, fabricate, and assemble. On completion, the vessel will be installed as a FPSO offshore Gabon, West Africa, and will provide process storage and offloading facilities for CNR International Ltd. on the Olowi field.

The fabrication of topside process modules and a quarter's extension for DP Producer AS and Scana AMT is a $13.9-million contract. This includes a new technology disconnectable riser buoy for the DP Producer'sDeep Producer dynamically positioned FPSO with delivery in the 4Q 2007.

The jackup rig refurbishment contracts, valued at $5.7 million, include Saipem'sPerro Negro II, Noble Drilling's Kenneth Delaney and the Aban rig Aban VII.

Lamprell also received an offshore rig upgrade contract valued at $4.25 million from Nabors Drilling for a suite of modifications and repairs to its rig145, now renamed the 867.
