Offshore staff

HOUSTON -- InterMoor has signed a long-term contract with a subsidiary of Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. to store and maintain Diamond Offshore's mooring hardware. The hardware will be housed in InterMoor's new 22-acre facility at Port Fourchon, Louisiana.

"InterMoor is excited about storing all of Diamond Offshore's mooring equipment such as chain, wire, and anchors for its Gulf of Mexico drilling needs," says Tom Fulton, president of InterMoor..

The new facility includes more than 1,200 ft (366 m) of bulkhead waterfront dock space, a warehouse, office, training center, living quarters, and three cranes to support the yard and provide heavy-lift services. The company is adding a new crane, which will be the largest of its kind in Port Fourchon, according to InterMoor. It is expected to be commissioned and operational in 4Q 2007.
