SAN ANTONIO, Texas --Landmark today introduced the Landmark M5600, a new high-definition monitor for geoscience visualization and analysis, at the SEG annual meeting. The monitor features a 56-in. (142-cm) quad full high-definition screen that is four times the size and with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, twice the pixel count of the highest resolution 30-in. (76-cm) screens, Landmark says.

The monitor also allows users to view multiple data sources together. The monitor's resolution and viewing area presentation of large amounts of detailed data in full context without zooming or scrolling, Landmark says. It also eliminates the need to jump from screen-to-screen, a common problem when multiple small monitors are joined side-by-side.

The M5600 does not require any special set-up, wiring, or alignment, and does not need a darkened room, according to Landmark.
