Tullow building Dutch gas base

LONDON --Tullow Oil is lining up the Epidote gas prospect in Dutch North Sea block E/13 for potential development. The company sees possible analogies with its nearby Carboniferous discoveries in UK waters.
Earlier this year, Tullow acquired Dutch part-blocks L12 and L15 from NAM, both close to the Dutch coast and to existing offshore infrastructure. It has identified exploration opportunities which, if commercial, could be developed with another discovery in the same license.
The company has also applied for a further five blocks on the same trend as E/13.
