STANLEY, Falkland Islands -- Falkland Oil and Gas Ltd. says the company has made a significant amount of progress both operationally and strategically in the last six months offshore the Falkland Islands.
The company has carried out its exploration program, designed specifically to de-risk the prospects on its acreage and produce a prioritized list of drilling prospects. The controlled source electro-magnetic survey and the infill 2D seismic survey have been completed, and initial indications have been encouraging, FOGL says.
The company expects to announce the results of the surveys later in the year.
