Cameron buys large capacity accumulators from Parker

ROCKFORD, Illinois Cameron has purchased 80 80-gal stainless steel piston accumulators from Parker for use on subsea BOPs.

Parker built special grade stainless steel 80-gal (303-l) piston accumulators to meet the requirements of a 10,000 to 12,000 ft (3,048 to 3,658 m) ocean floor environment. The accumulators have a 14-in (35.5-cm). bore and rated to 7,500 psi (52 MPa).

All of these units feature the required pressure vessel certifications for worldwide use.
