ABERDEEN, UKHalliburton has introduced three new screen solutions for sand control at the 2007 Offshore Europe Exhibition and Convention in Aberdeen.
Halliburton says the EquiFlow Oil Selector valve can reduce unwanted water or gas production without wellbore intervention; the EquiFlow inflow control delays early water or gas coning to increase recoverable reserves; and the PetroGuard Advanced Mesh screen provides sand control in heavy oil and poorly sorted sand environments.
