BEJING -- CNPC has contracted with Kingworld Resources, a subsidiary of Rimbunan Hijau Group, to develop and produce hydrocarbons at block 1 of Fuyu in the Songliao basin.

The contract area covers 254.9 sq k (98 sq mi)in Jilin Province.
