STOCKHOLM, Sweden --Lundin Oil claims its recent Luno oil find is the largest in the Norwegian North Sea in the past decade.
The company plans further exploration next year on this field and on South East Tor in production license PL 006c, with an appraisal well also lined up on the Nemo field in PL148 later this year.
Additionally, says CEO Ashley Heppenstall, Lundin is moving closer to a development decision concerning the Peik gas-condensate field on the UK/Norwegian North Sea median line.
