Intertek acquires Capcis, Smith Rae

LONDON -- Intertek has acquired Capcis and Smith Rae Energy Ltd.

Intertek's oil, chemical, and agri-division, Caleb Brett, has acquired Umitek Ltd.- the holding company of wholly owned operating subsidiaries Capcis and Smith Rae Energy Ltd. (SREL)- in a deal worth $19.7 million.
