DAVENTRY, UK --Bodycote Testing Group has opened a new facility in Daventry, England, dedicated to testing of steel catenary riser fatigue.

The facility, aimed at subsea and deepwater pipeline sectors, will be capable of performing resonance fatigue testing of 2-20-in. (5– 51 cm) diameter pipes.

Bodycote also provides testing of polymers and coatings, sour service corrosion, and fracture toughness. The company is looking to expand its coverage to the Caspian, South America, and Middle East.
