SINGAPORE –Yokogawa Electric Corp. has opened a 12-story building in Bedok to house a several operations.

"We are aiming to grow aggressively by organic expansion of operations internationally and especially in key markets to achieve our goal," said Shuzo Kaihori, president and CEO of Yokogawa. "This new Yokogawa building in Singapore will play a significant role in our expansion plans."

This new building will house many of Yokogawa's regional and international businesses, including an international (business) headquarters that oversees global business operations (except that of Japan, Korea, and China); regional business headquarters (Asean and Oceania) and the global engineering solutions center. It will also house a 24/7 customer call center, the production excellence solutions center, the Singapore research and development center to develop customer-centric software applications using the latest technologies, and the newly established EJA Transmitter manufacturing line, according to Yokogawa.
