PRESTON, UK -- Lancashire-based skills development specialist Appropriate Training recently hosted a delegation from the South African Oil & Gas Association with a view to devising a new qualifications framework for the country's energy and shipbuilding industries.

The team's aim is to establish a technical training center in South Africa that will give SAOGA members access to top-class engineers, academics, and technicians.

"The team was amazed at how smoothly UK training centers operate," says Hans Herrman of South Africa's Hansing Engineering Training. "A great deal of valuable information and advice was given to us."
