US Liquids opens oilfield disposal station

HOUSTON --US Liquids of LA LP (USLL) has opened its new Pelican Island Transfer Station in Galveston, Texas. The facility is a full-service marine and truck transfer station for the disposal of oilfield drilling and production waste 24-hours a day, seven-days a week. It also provides barge and tank cleaning services.
"Opening the Pelican Island Transfer Station is an important part of our ongoing long term commitment to help E&P companies in Texas and Louisiana to reduce, reuse, and recycle E&P waste," says William Werdenberg, ULL CEO. "Our goal is to offer generators unmatched operational flexibility, the lowest transportation costs, and highest barge utilization in the Gulf Coast."
