Acergy lands Nigeria riser, pipeline contract

LONDON – Acergy SA has won a $120-million contract for work in shallow waters off Nigeria for an unnamed company.

The contract covers removal of existing risers and installation of 15 km (9.3 m) of new pipelines and associated risers plus the associated diving and hook-up.

Construction engineering is under way and offshore installation is scheduled to start 1Q 2011.
