HOUSTON -- The 2010 Offshore Technology Conference drew attendance of 72,900, reports, exceeding last year's 67,700 people. The exhibition was the largest in 28 years, says OTC, covering 568,000 sq ft.

"Today's reality is yesterday's impossibility," said Charles Davidson, Noble Energy chairman and CEO, in his keynote talk at the awards lunch. "Our willingness to take on the 'impossible' has led to immense change and success. Believing that anything is possible is critical to that success."

The show covered four days, May 3-7, and this year offered sessions on alternate and renewable energies.05/07/2010
