Seadrill set to purchase harsh-environment rig

SINGAPORE -- Jurong Shipyard Pte has signed a letter of intent with Seadrill negotiating the sale of a harsh environment CJ70 jackup.

The rig was originally contracted by Petroprod, which went into liquidation last year. Jurong terminated the contract when no further payments were received.
