Seadrill subsidiary Scorpion Offshore Ltd. has contracted the Offshore Vigilant to drill two wells in Venezuela for Cardon IV S.A. for $37.2 million.

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill subsidiary Scorpion Offshore Ltd. has contracted the Offshore Vigilant to drill two wells in Venezuela for Cardon IV S.A. for $37.2 million. The contract covers two wells with an option for two more wells.
It also signed a one-well contract to use theOffshore Resolute in Vietnam with a contract value between $5.8 million and $7.4 million.
Seadrill’s newbuild jackup West Callisto has a $27.4-million contract with Premier Oil to drill in the Natuna Sea offshore Indonesia. Also in Indonesia, PT Pertalahan Arnebatara Natuna has contracted the newbuild West Ledafor 90 days at $12.4 million.
